Day 3-oops I missed a daily post already
Well, I had an extremely epic day at work...crazy busy so I missed my day 2 post. But I had lots of thoughts about personal commitment & accountability and a 90 day plan I've laid out in my daily planner. As I mentioned, I lost a little over 30 pounds last year by this time. I gave up wine for the whole month of January in 2017 and starting making better choices in my diet, hitting the gym more often. Then in June...BAM!! I met someone. And then proceeded to go out to eat a lot more, enjoyed more wine more often, stopped going to the gym...hence 20-25 pounds came back on. Since I'm doing many things to change my life, I reminded myself that my weight is something I've always struggled with but I've got to get a better hold on it all.
I decided to put myself on a 90 day plan of better eating choices (going to be meal prepping like a boss), cutting down on wine and other adult beverage consumption, exercise..even if it's only walking 20 minutes on my lunch break...I've got to MOVE everyday. So starting April 2 the countdown begins. The 90 days will take me to June 30 which is right before Zoe and I head out for our family reunion trip in North Carolina in July.
I need to accept certain things about my self-image

- I am never going to skinny..I'm a petite, curvy girl and I'm ok with that
- I want to be healthy and fit into all the clothes I've purchased that are now either too tight or don't fit anymore
- I didn't put the weight on overnight...I have to be patient even if the scale doesn't move
